Atlanta is committing $25 million to the city's Affordable Housing Trust Fund, according to city council meeting minutes and a press release from the mayor's office. The City Council voted almost unanimously in favor of the measure Monday evening, with only one member dissenting. The approved funding seeks to address the growing need for affordable housing within the city, especially for low- and moderate-income families.
